12/31/15

  Yesterday, I watched a few videos on YouTube about Star Wars on the channel IGN. I watched about lightsaber history, Jedis, and Star Wars saga in about 7 minutes along with few videos about Star Wars: The Force Awaken. 

  Today was the last day of the year so happy new year. Today, I have Bible content exam. Some names that I don't will make mostly of the error that's on my content exam. In history, I learned about the religion of Islam. Islam was started by Mohammed. He claimed that the angel Gabriel came to him one day and told him to write Gabriel's word as a the Bible called Koran. Mohammed said that he was the last prophet of Allah, the God of Islam. He also said that the previous prophets are Adam, Noah, Morses, and, surprisingly, Jesus. He said that Allah was the same God of Christians, only that Christians misunderstood Allah. The Islam empire even reached the Pyrenees mountains and possessed most of Spain in Europe. The Islam have their first defeat at the Battle of Tours. In science today, I continued to learn about creation science, or should I say started to. I don't remembered that have I learned about creation science yesterday. We learned about few people. A Christian scientist said that when we looked at a clock, we see that it was designed and have purpose. Another man that doesn't believed God published a book called The Blind Watchmaker. The book said that the watchmaker designed the watch without a design and purpose, and the look that it was designed was just a illusion. I reviewed in mathematic today because in the next lesson, we'll have a nine weeks exam on mathematic. The review was quite long. It have like 4 pages. In language, we still learned about complements. We also have Language quiz 7 and Speed and Comprehension quiz 6. The CQ6 was about William Tell, the hero in Swiss legend. William Tell was the hero of the Swiss because he inspired the people to uprise against Austria that had conquered Switzerland by that time. 

  I also forget the James Bond theme rhytm, but, once again, I remembered it again now. I could played Jingle Bells pretty good when I played it slowly. I walked with my dad longer than usual. We usually walked 8 rounds around the apartment buildings, but we walked 10 rounds today for my dad's walking score wasn't high enough. Tomorrow, I'll have a day off. I'll learned Python and try to make cookies. We still gonna go to church tommorrow.

  Yesterday, I watched the movie called Goosebumps on iPad. I'm gonna summarize the movie here. One day, Zach moved to a city called Madison, which I don't remember which state it was in. He met a girl named Hannah next door. Her father don't allowed Hannah to go outside. One day, Hannah took Zach into the wood to an abandoned theme park. When they came home, Hannah's father found out that they went out; and they quarreled that night. Zach thought that Hannah's father has beaten her so he called the police. The police, after talking with Hannah's father, make a conclusion that Zach was just lying. Zach called his new friend, Champ, that night and went into Hannah's house to "rescue" her after pretending that the police called Hannah's father to came to the police station. When they were in the house, they found many books by R.L. Stine that was locked on the shelf. Champ wondered why the books were locked so Zach opened one. When Zach opened one of the book, a Yeti came out of the book, knocking every books on the shelf down. The Yeti went into town, and Zach, Champ, and Hannah have to go and caught the Yeti back. They failed to caught the Yeti, and when the Yeti almost kill them, Hannah's father came just in time to caught the Yeti back into the book. Zach and Champ soon found out that Hannah's father was R.L. Stine.  When they came home, they found out that another book was opened; and Slappy the Living Dummy came out. Slappy was mad when he know that Mr. Stine tried to caught him back into the book, and he went around the city and free all the monster from Mr. Stine's book. He also burned that books. By burning all the books, the monster couldn't get back into the books. Zach, Champ, Hannah, and Mr. Stine have to write another book that contained all the monsters to capture all the monsters; but it wasn't easy. The book have to have a beginning, middle, and a body like a novel. In the end, the caught all the monster back into the new book. 

  I have two exams today. A science exam and a Bible verse exam. I don't think my verse exam gonna have a high score because I haven't remembered Titus and might have few errors in John. I also could played James Bond theme much faster. I suddenly got the rhythm wrong, but I've fixed it now. I could also played Jingle Bells' chorus a little better. I learned a new song for guitar called "Smoke on the Water" or something like that. The new song was easy; it only have one part. The best part was that I only have to played it on one string. I also learned Python a little bit today. Tomorrow is my last day at school of the year and last day of the year also. I'll have a day off on Friday. 

12/29/15

  Yesterday, we have a family meeting so we didn't watch movie. This morning, my dad said that there's too few quizzes and exercises at school yesterday; and today, I have 3 tests. I have three nine weeks exam test in history and grammar today. I have two nine weeks exam tests for language and literature. On last Sunday, I watched a guiness show. One record was the fastest violin player ever. He played a song in 65 seconds, and his fingers moved very quickly. His fingers moved even faster than the fingers you used to type. We reviewed in science and Bible today. In math, we learned everything about profit including net profit, gross profit, lose, sell price, cost, and overhead. 

  Today, we were supposed to go to an addicted camp to see how they celebrate Christmas. My uncle also went with us, but we met too many traffic jams. When we got there, everyone has already gone, so we headed home again. At least I see how the traffic jams was in Hanoi (I slept all the way back to our home.) I usually get tired now. This morning, the weather was so cold that I have to curled up; when I woke up, I was still curled up. Yesterday, I was reading on Kindle; and I woke up, I was still holding up my Kindle. When I got home, it was nearly 6:00 pm. Instead of learning the strumming pattern and completed the goal that I made yesterday, I learned to pick a guitar song. The song was the theme song of the movie James Bond. I couldn't played as fast as they were, but I was able to played it quite well. I tried to learned the verse and chorus of the song "Jingle Bells" on MacBook. Tonight, I gonna watched movie on iPad. Maybe they already have Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but I just forgot to change a don't to a doesn's so I couldn't watched movie today. 

  I will have a Nine Weeks Verse exam tomorrow in Bible. I've completely remember John 14:1-6 and another one that I don't remember where it was. I remember a little from Titus. "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation had appeared to all men, teaching us that denying worldy lust and ungodliness, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly. Looking for that blessed hope..." That's all I remembered of Titus. "Let not your heart be troubled. Ye believed in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go and prepared a place for you, and if you go and prepared a place for you, I would coma again and recieve you unto myself, for where I am, there ye may be also. And Thomas said unto him, 'Lord, we know not whither thou goest, and how could we know the way.' Jesus said unto him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.'" That's John 14:1-6. 

12/28/15

  Last Friday, I went to my friends', Quan and Quang, house. I intended to went to their house on Friday so I could have a goodbye party for my Bible teacher. My parents were going to my mom's parent's house for my mom's aunt gonna have a wedding for her son, and my dad was asked to drive the car. Our Bible teacher that taught us Bible every Friday said that she'll take us for lunch on last Saturday, but she doesn't come so we just played iPad and watched movies there. I got there on a bus. My dad took me to the bus station. I get on a bus from there and got to my friends' house. It rained a little when I waited at the bus station. I got to my frineds' house about 6:00 pm, and it has stopped raining by then. Shortly after my arrival, we have dinner there. After dinner, we played iPad until we're bored and watched movies. 

  Last Saturday, I woke up pretty early. I don't know why, but I always woke up earlier than normal when I'm at Quan and Quang's house. They have to went to school that morning. They were supposed to be at school the whole day, but the Bible teacher were supposed to take us for lunch so they got home at noon. The teacher didn't come, as I have already said, so we stayed. Home and watched movies then have lunch at their house. We watched movies and played iPad until it was 3:00 pm. At 3:00 pm, Quan and Quang's dad told us to help him to take stuffs to the place that our church celebrated Christmas. Quan have to carried a speaker, I carried two smaller speakers and my backpack, and Quang carried some wires. When we got there, I recharged my iPad immediately. After some people sang songs and told others about how their life was before they know Christ, I came up and sang "Amazing Grace" in English. I think that I didn't sang so good, and I also think I sang too quietly. Next was Quan and Quang's whole family went up to sing "Silent Night". We later have lunch there. 

This morning, I almost completed my walking goal. I walked for 3 miles for nearly 47 minutes. I also failed the guitar practice goal today. I've practiced for an hour and a half and don't get a single one that's 76% or more. Tomorrow's goal was to have 10 times 76% or more at the speed of 102. 

12/23/15

  On Monday, I was so sick. My temperature even reached to 38.8 degrees Celsius. Sometimes I felt that my body was really hot, and in the same time, it felt cold too. I was really tired that I doesn't even want to go upstairs to go to bed. I wish I could sleep down there even though I could still go up there. I still went upstairs to went to bed, obviously. I managed to finished my morning classes, but I doesn't remember much of what I learned on Monday. I learned history, science, and language. In history, I learned about the church in the beginning of Middle Ages. I there was a pope that urged the emperor of Rome to kill everyone who opposed the church in the matter related to God. The church even said that in the matters that related to God, they are more important than the government. Pope Leo I was the one who met Attila, the leader of the Huns in 434 to 453, and told Attila not to attack the Rome Empire. 

  On Tuesday, or yesterday, I learned a little bit in the morning. I learned mathematic, Bible, and history. In Bible, I learned about when the Israelites got the Mount Sinai. Most believed that Mt. Sinai is the same mountain as Mt. Horeb, the mount that God speak to Moses through a burning bush. Moses met his wife, sons, and father in law there. Many believed that Moses' father in law believed in God that day. In history, I reviewed for the upcoming nine weeks exam. I finished the rest of the book White Fang the rest of afternoon. The book was about the life of a wolf/dog called White Fang. The book started at the time when his mother and father met until he was excepted by everyone in California. He was taken to California by his latest owner. 

  Today, I mustn't eat breakfast so I could to a supersonic pictures of my stomach. Last night, I suddenly loss weight so I have to go to the hospital this morning. What I didn't prepared for was that I have to take samples of my feces. I haven't eaten breakfast yet, and I've already go to toilet last night so I can't get the samples this morning. The toilet there smelled so bad that the sewage smelled even better than the toilet there. We have to wait quite long to take supersonic pictures. I have to wait like 2 hours until it was my turn. Fortunately, one of my dad's friend worked at that hospital so I got to went in a little earlier. My family and my parent's company went to a restaurant to eat this noon. The restaurant was a buffet restaurant. I ate only one full dish and a nearly full dish with some fruits and a stick of chocolate ice cream. I finally able to take feces samples after lunch. The worst part was putting my feces into the bottle. It smells horrible and make me want to throw up. I took the sample to the doctor by myself today. My dad doesn't need to went with me. I also completed the guitar practice goal today. The goal was to have 15 times 75% or more in 45 minutes or more. The reason was the goal was low because I haven't practiced guitar for a while. Tomorrow's goal was to have 15 times 76% or more in 45 minutes or less. I'm about to watch Star Wars tonight.

  Yesterday, I watched a movie with my dad called Office Space. The movie was about a guy worked at a office named Peter Gibbon. He didn't like his job at all. One day, he went to a therapist. The therapist hypnosis him to make him forget all worries. The therapist also make him not worried about anything unitl he snapped his fingers, but the therapist died before he snapped his fingers. As the result, Peter don't worried about anything. He didn't go to work until afternoon. One day, his friends at his office were about to be fired. Peter and his friends came up with an idea. There gonna install a program designed by one of Peter's friend to the company's computer. The program will take the money to their bank account, but the plan went wrong. The program were supposed to give the accounts a large sum of money after 2 years, but they recieved nearly a million dollars by next week. Peter planned to give the money back. At one night, he sneaked into the office and put the envelope that contained the checks through the door of his boss. Next morning, as he was driving away for fearing that he'll ended up in jail, he said his office burning. He found out that it was burned by a man named Milton. Milton was forced to moved his desk to the storage room, then the boss tell him that he will needed a flashlight because they'll turned off the light in order to save money. That made Milton so angry that he burned the office. 

  In history, I learned about the church. God's invisible church was that people who belived in Jesus Christ are one church, but some church leaders think that all church must be under on church's control. The Church of Rome declared that Peter and Paul assigned the Church of Rome to be the head of all church. The Bible proved that Peter never went to Rome, and I remembered that the book said that Paul never assigned the Church of Rome. In science, I learned about how we should preserved out skin. We all sweat each day even when we were not exercising. The book say that we should use the sunscreen that have the number of SPF that was 30. Acne was the infection of many sweat glands. Pimple was when sebum were trapped inside our sweat glands, it started to swell. I learned about find the percent of increas in mathematic today. In language, we learned to fixed run-on sentences. In Bible, I learned about the time the Israelites murmured about their lack of water again; so God told Moses to strike a rock and water will gushed out of it. I've completed the guitar practice goal today. Tomorrow's goal was like yesterday, except I have to have 25 times 75% or more. I also learned about Python a little bit today. 

12/16/15

  Yesterday, my dad and I didn't watch Star Wars. Instead, I watched YouTube a little bit then read a science book.  I read the book until about 10:15 pm, and then I played Lego little bit before went to bed. 

  Today, I have to walked 3 miles for 46 minutes or less, but I didn't completed the goal. I walked 3 miles for 47:47 minutes. My dad and I were supposed to walked 3 miles for 46 minutes or less tonight, but it rained; so we stayed home and not walk. In history, I learned about the Middle Ages. The Middle Ages started about the year of 500 to 1500. The Middle Ages started at the fall of Rome. I learned that the national leaders used the distortions of Christianity to rise to power, but the distortions of Christianity also resulted the rise and fall nation and empires of Europe. In science, I still learned about nutrients. I learned about vitamins and minerals. Vitamins are from living things like animals and plants. Minerals are substances that came from the earth and things that made the earth. There're vitamin A, B complex, C, D, and K. There're eight B vitamins, yet, there're vitamin B 12. I don't know how they were named, but I think that their name were based on their stucture. In language, I learned about sentence fragments. Fragments are groups of words that don't make a complete thought. We also learned about how to fix a fragment. We have to add more words to make the fragments completed, or connect two fragments that might make a complete thought. In mathematic, I learned how to find the percentage. To find a percentage, we changed the percent to a decimal, then multiplied the percent by the base. For example, to find the percentage in 20% of 250, we changed 20% to .20 then multiplied by 250. The answer was 50. In Bible, I learned about how God provided foods the the Israelites while they're in the wilderness. In the early morning, God sent breads from Heaven, or manna. Manna was a word in the Hebrews language that meant "what is this?" In the afternoon, God sent them thousands upon thousands of quails. The quails flew so low and slow that the Israelites could catch them with their bare hand. Today, I completed the guitar practice goal that I've made yesterday for today. The goal was to have 15 times 74% or more for 45 minutes or more at the full speed. I also did all the jobs I have to do like, take clothes of the line, learned new English words, practiced guitar, and lift weights. My dad taught me how to use a programming language called Python, and I think I did pretty well. Tonight my dad and I gonna watch Star Wars Episode 1. The guitar practice goal tomorrow was to have 15 times 75% or more at full speed

  Yesterday, there're Star War Episode IV on Disney, but I didn't watched it because I'm watching Lego Bionicle on iPad then. Now, they're airing Star War Episode V on Disney. I also watched a video about a commander of US Special Operation Fore or something making a speech at the graduation of a university with my dad. He said about the training of SEAL. 

  Today, I learned about the fall of the Eastern Roman Empire.  The Eastern Roman Empire fall because it foundation was on too much violence and the Germanic tribes also attacked them. The Visigoths, Ostrogoths, Franks, and Vandals were the Germanic tribes that attacked the Roman Empire. The Romans have tried to attacked the German tribes before, but they failed to conquered them. The Romans admired the way of the Germanic tribes. Few years after, Huns lead by Attila attacked the Germanic tribes. The Huns conquered the Ostrogoths. The Visigoths knew that they would be next, so they asked the Romans to got into their empire. So much Visigoths came in so much that the Romans government started to mistreated the Visigoths. The Visigoths was so angry that they started to uprising against the Roman Empire. The Eastern Roman Empire eventually fell in the fourth century A.D. In science, I learned about the nutrients in foods. Was learned about starches, or carbon hydrate. Starches were broken down inside the digestive system to sugars. Fibers was polysaccharides just as starches, but fibers were more complicated than starches so they can't be digested. Fibers help cleaned our alimentery canal. Oils were classified as water. The white flour that we usually eat were first introduced to America in 1837 in a World Fair at Vienna by the governor of Minnesota. The white flour wasn't good for us because they don't have as much nutrients as the whole wheat, because they've removed the germ and the bran of the wheat. Not all dark bread are whole wheat. Some molasses were added to make the bread darker like whole wheat bread. In language, I learned about complements. Complements complete sentences. They usually appeared in sentence that have a liking verb. In mathematic, I learned about the way to find the amount after decreased or increased by percents. We don't have Bible lesson today. Today, I still failed at the guitar practice goal. The goal was to have 15 times 90% or more in 45 minutes or more at the speed of 88. Tomorrow, the goal was to have 15 times 74% or more for 45 minutes or more at full speed.

  Yesterday, my mom, my little sister, and I went to Aeon Mall Long Bien. My mom bought me Lego. She bought two 2nd generation Bionicle. The sets I got was Kopaka and Protector of Ice. They were special sales so that 2 sets cost only 739.000 vnd. One set was smaller than the other. We ate Burger King for lunch. In the afternoon, I used my most time to make Lego Mocs. 

  Today, I learned about Constantine in history. Constantine was a Roman emperor that persecute others in the name of Christianity. First, he made it legal to be a Christian. Next, he make it illegal not to be a Christian. Constantine used Christianity to enforce his unstable empire, but his empire still gonna be divide into 2 parts in to reign of another emperor that divided his empi re between his 2 sons. In grammar, I reviewed the poem "My Hearts in the Highlands" by Robert Burns. We also reviewed the spelling words in the previous lists that I've learned because we're learning a review list. In scienc today, I have a science test. The test consist of 4 pages. There're an essay part where I have to write few sentences to answer the question, and the sentence I wrote was quite good in length. The question in the essay part was that what was the parts of the teeth and how do they anchored to the jawbone. In mathematic, I learned about percents that were larger than 100. To change the percents that were larger than 100, we just move the decimal to the left 2 places like usual. For example, 450% is 4.5 in decimal. In Bible, I learned about the Israelites when they left the wilderness of Shir to the wilderness of Sin. But the wilderness of Sin was higher than the wilderness of Shur. There the Israelites complained about the lack of meat and bread. God provided them manna in the morning, and quail meat in the afternoon. 

  Today, my dad's cousin visited us while I was practicing my guitar. I didn't succeed in my guitar practice goal, because I only have 1 time that was 90% or more in 1 hour and 13 minutes at the speed of 88. Tomorrow, my guitar practice goal was to have 15 times 90% or more at the speed of 88 for 45 minutes or more. Today, I also make so new things with my lego toy after I've done practicing my guitar. 

12/12/15

  Yesterday, I went to my friends house. There, I deleted FIFA 15 and redownloaded Infinity Blade III. The wifi there's so weak that I couldn't download the game, but I could still watch YouTube. When I returned, I downloaded it again. 

  I ate sticky rice for breakfast this morning. About 10:00 am, I played Infinity Blade III, and my greatest fear became real. The game no longer have my equipments from the last time I played the game. I solved this by asking on the website of this game and another famous Ifinity Blade player on YouTube. I played 'till 12 am. Today I fried so pork and make fried eggs for lunch by myself. My dad only told me what to do, and I'm the one how make the foods. At 3 pm, my dad and I went to my dad's friend house. I was given a science book there. When I got home, I started to practice my guitar. For an hout and fifteen minutes, I make only three times that was 90% or more. Tonight, my family gonna watch movie from my dad's MacBook on TV.

  Yesterday, I watched the movie Pan. Pan was about the time when Peter Pan started to go to Neverland. His mother give him to an orphanage as a baby. The orphanage sold kids to the pirate Blackbeard in Neverland for foods. One day, he was taken to Neverland on a flying ship to work in a mine of Pixum, also known as fairy dust, for Blackbeard. When he found a Pixum ore, another man stole it from him.  He tried a get it back, but other thought that he just said so. As he was falling down overboard as a punishment for claiming that the ore was his, he suddenly stopped falling and float. Blackbeard took Peter to his room and said that the natives of the land has a prophecy that a flying boy would kill him. Peter was actually son of a fairy prince, and his mother was a human. He later escape with the help of James Hook and Smee. There's alot to talk about this movie so let's just say he finally defeated all the pirates, went back to England to take all his friends in the orphanage, and Jame Hook was his friend, for now. 

  Today, I learned about Roman emperors. Titus was one of the few emperors that didn't persecute Christians. During his reign, Pompeii was destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. He also he invaded Jerusalem to end the revolt at Judea. There's an emperor that went mad and make his favorite horse a Senator. If I remembered right, Nero was after Titus. Nero was wicked man. He kileed his wife, step brother, amd mother. He started to officially persucute the Christians. He blamed the Christians for the fire at Rome. In science, I learned about the growth of the baby inside his, or her, mother's womb. A baby was formed in 9 months. In language, I learned about compound subject and compound verb, but not compound sentence yet. Compound subject is a sentence that have 2 or more subjects, as in, "My dad and I walk each night." Compound verb is a sentence that have 2 or more verbs, as in, " I walk and talk with my dad each night." Compound sentence is a sentence that have 2 or more subjects and 2 or more verbs, but don't have different clauses, as in, "My dad and I walk and talk each night. In mathematic, I learned how to find a percent of a number. In Bible, I finally got to the place when Moses with the Israelites got to the other side of Red Sea; and I learned that God held the Egyptians back by the column of clouds. When the Israelites got through the Red Sea, God let the waters get back to normal and killed the Egyptians. Today, I found out that the reason I failed in guitar practice is it was too fast, so I reduced to speed to 88; and I've completed it. Tomorrow, I'll practiced 10 times 91% or more at the speed of 88 for 45 minutes or more.

  Yesterday, my dad and I watched the movie The Godfather based on a novel by Mario Puzo. The movie was about a mafia family called Corleon. Vito Corleon was the head of the family. One day he was shotted by some men hired by another mafia family, but fortunately, he still alive. Sonny Corleon, Vito's son, became the temporary head of the family. His younger brother, Michael, volunteered to killed the man who hired the men to killed his father and the policeman who tried to kill his father again. Michael have to went back to Sicily with some bodyguards to protected himself from those who tried to killed him. Sonny was assassinated after a little while when Vito have woken. When Michael returned, his dad appointed him to be the head of the family. The movie lasted for about 2 and a half hours. I watched from 9:30 pm to about 0:00 am. 

  This morning, I've forgotten about walking for 3 miles again; but I did completed the goal I have to done in the next day. I walked 1.5 miles for 24:37 minutes. In history, I still learned about the Rome Empire. Mr. Smith said that in the ancient days, people have to toe a letter to a pigeon's foot. He also said it was the first Twitter. XD. He said that when he was in high school. One year on Christmas, He was given a device that when someone want him to called to them, they just have to called to the number of that device. He told us a joke that when his mother called him on the device, he called back to her; but he called to wrong number so he hanged up right away and lost a quarter. He tried again, and this time, his mother didn't answer the phone. He don't have any quarter left, but he found another one and called back to his mother. This time, his brother pick up and hanged up right away. He finally found another quarter. This time his mother picked up the phone and said she just want to know if he's okay. In science, I learned about the tissues of our body. There're also pictures of cells in our body. In language, we learned about diagramming subject and verb. From this lesson, simple subjects are called subject, and simple predicate are called verb. In mathematic p, we learned about percents. To change decimal to percents, we just need to move the decimal two places to the right. In Bible today, I learned about the Jews crossing the Red Sea. God divided the water for the Jews to moved on dry land to the other side of the Red Sea. This afternoon, I still can't complete my guitar practice goal. I'm suppose to make 10 times 90% or more at the spped of 91 in 45 mi utes or more. Instead, I only make 1 time 90% for about an hour. Tomorrow, I'll continued the guitar practice goal like yesterday. Tonight is my day to watch movie. I intened to find movie on iPad to watch. I hope that my feces today was still in good shape.

  Yesterday, I and my dad watch the movie Vacation again. We've watched this on iPad before. My mom didn't watch the whole movie with us because she have to get my little sister to sleep. The story was about the Griswolds. They traveled from Chicago, Illinois to Walley World in San Franciso, California. While they travel, there're gonna be many situations that was hilarious. The father of the Griswold family almost give up to go to Walley World. 

  In history today, I learned about Octavian a.k.a. Augustus Caesar and Antony. After Julius Caesar's death, Octavian, the adopted son and the righteous heir to Julius Caesar, ruled the Roman Empire. Antony convinced Octavian to let him ruled with Octavian to catch the Senators that assassinated Julius Caesar. Antony fell in love with the Egyptian queen Cleopatra, the last heir of the Ptolomic, or something like that, dynasty. Antony loved her so much that he started to give some lands of the Roman Empire to Cleopatra. Most Romans don't like this, and Octavian used that to let the people revolt against Antony. The fleet of Octavian and Antony met in the Battle of Actium. Antony's fleet lost, and Antony with Cleopatra ran away from the Roman Empire and suicide together. After Antony's death, Octavian become the only emperor of the Roman Empire. He pretended that he restored the Senates, but the Senators will do anything Octavian tells them to. Basically, Octavian's still the emperor. Octavian have many names. The one he like best was Princeps which means "first citizen." The Bible called him Augustus Caesar. Since then, every Roman emperor have the title Caesar. In science, we learned alittle bit about our endocrine system. The endocrine system produces hormone for our body. Hormones help us grow. The endocrine system don't have tubes. They traveled through the bloodstream. There're pineal gland, pituitary gland, adrenal glands, Islet of Langerhans, and thymus. In language, I learned about the subject and verb of a sentence. Some of them have subject in the middle of a verb phrase, like in, "Don't you dare to do that!" Som of them have understood you, as in, "Close the door."  We don't have anything to learn in Bible, and we have a mathmetic test, so basically I just have to do mathematic test in the afternoon. I finished the book Call of the Wild today. This afternoon, I didn't completed my guitar practice goal. In 1 hour and a half, I only have six times 90% or more at the speed of 91. Tomorrow I'll have to complete the guitar practice goal. The goal was to have 10 times 90% or more at the speed of 91 for 45 minutes or more.

  Yesterday, my parents went to Ms. Mai's house for her wedding. I stayed at home alone. I played FIFA  'till lunch. For lunch, I ate four homeade hamburgers. While I made my burgers, I let the game play automatically. I could still win the matches while making burgers for my lunch. After lunch, I kinda get bored of playing iPad, so I started to watch TV. I watched mostly cartoons because not all movies are good to me. That night I watched Interstellar with my dad. Interstellar was set in an earth that's dying. Kyle Cooper after seeing a gravity abnormal, found out that the gravity abnormal was a morse code telling the cordinate of a place. He went to the cordinate and found out that the place was a secret lace of NASA. NASA was making a project to send man to another galaxy and find another planet for mankind to live on through a wormhole near Saturn. When they got through the wormhole, they have to chose which planet to go to; but they must not lose time, for one hour on that planet means seven years back in earth. They went to the first planet that was completely covered with water, but the water was shallow. They went to the planet that was discovered by another explorer that was still alive. It turns out that that planet as unhabitable, the explorer just send the message hoping to be rescue. Now the fuel was low so they have to use all the ships to get there. Kyle Cooper have to drop back in order for Dr. Brand to get to that planet. He was sucked into the wormhole and get to a place where he discovered that he was the one who caused the gravity abnormals. While he was there he send a message to his daughter. The message was the way to save mankind. He finally got out of there and was picked up by some men and took him to a space station where mankind lives now in the future. 

  Today, I learned about Julius Caesar in history. I also learned a little bit about Pompey. In science, I we get to see the results of the expiriments that we made in that chapter like pulling on a frog's tendon to move its leg and see the egg inside a beaker of vingar. In math, I reviewed for the mathematic test in the nest lesson. In Bible, we also reviewed for the test; but I didn't know when the test was. Today, with God's help, I finished my guitar practice goal. The goal was to have 10 times 92% or more withthe speed of 85 for 45 minutes or more. Tomorrow's goal was to practice 20 times 90% or more with the spped of 90 for 45 minutes of more. Tonight my family gonna watch the movie Vacation.

  On Friday, I learned about the Punic Wars in history. The first Punic War began with the attack of the city of Carthage on Rome. But Rome still won the First Punic War. In the Second Punic War, a Carthagian general, Hannibal, attacked the Romans by going to Spain and through the Alps to get to Rome. It tooks Hannibal about 15 years to do so, and he still haven't attacked Rome yet. Rome finally attacked Carthage before Hannibla attacked Rome, and Hannibal have to get back. The Romans won this war too. The Third Punic War began because the Roman attacked Carthage. The Romans won again, and they sowed to land with salt so the land can't grow anything. In science, I learned that bones heals with bone cells; and unlike skin, the broken bone get stronger than it used to be. We have an experiment. If we keep a wishbone in vinegar for about a day, it will become so soft that you could bend it into a knot. In English, I have Literature Test 2 and Language Test 2. Because I just have test, the class finished soon. In mathematic, I learned to solve ratio problems. The process was too long, so I won't wrote it out here. In Bible, I learned about the exodus of the Israelites and got to the part when they've got to the Red Sea. God guide them to the Red Sea using a column of clouds by day and a column of fire by night. When they got to the Red Sea, the Egyptians caught up with them. When they found out that the Egyptian have caught up with them, they complained to Moses. That when I've gotten to, but in the next part, God will parted the Red Sea for the Israelites to pass through; and when the Egyptian got to the Red Sea, God let the waters returned to normal and drowned the Egyptians. 

  I tried to make a stop motion with my Lego mocs yesterday, but I can't made one because the video always get black when I uploaded it to YouTube. I finished my guitar practice goal that afternoon. The goal was to have 10 times 91% or more with the speed of 85 for 45 minutes or more. That night, my dad downloaded FIFA 15: Ultimate Team on iPad.  While I waited for my game to finished, I watched Kingman with my dad. Kingman was a  movie about a secret organization called Kingman in England. They were spies to protect the world. Eggsy was a boy in England. One day he met a man from Kingman, and the man told him about the organization and wanted Eggsy to recruit into Kingman. He with six other people were the recruit, but in the end, only Eggsy and Rosy get to be the agents of Kingman. They have to stop Valentine. Valentine create SIM cards for free to everyone. What others don't know that that SIM cards make the phones to make sound waves that make anyone who hears them turn aggressive to everyone else and started to kill them. I did finally played FIFA 15 for about a hour then went to bed. I didn't slept right away, but I read Call of the Wild by Jack London. 

  This morning, I tried to upload my stop motion on Ubutu, but it still didn't works because YouTube can't process it. At noon, I continued to read Call of the Wild until my mom goes upstair so I could watch TV.  I watched Back to the Future. The movie was about Marty McFly going back to the past. While he was recording a video about the time machine of Dr. Emmet Brown, some Libyans that Dr. Brown have taken the Plutonium for the fuel of the time machine found him and shot him. Marty get into the time machine and accidentally went back from 1985 to 1955. He accidentally fixed to future by preventing his parent to married each other. So find Dr. Brown in the past to help him. Marty tried to warned Dr. Brown of the future, but Dr. Brown refused to hear him, so Marty wrote a letter to him. Dr. Brown ripped the letter because he said he didn't want to now the future. When Marty returned to the present, Dr. Brown was already shotted. It turns out that Dr. Brown did read Marty's letter, so he wore a bulletproof vest.

  Yesterday, I watched Gravity Falls season 2 episode 20 "Escape from Reality." Graviity Falls is about to end since it was already end of summer in the cartoon. Alex Hirsch, the creator of the series, have done a great job creating this cartoon. Every single episode have a mysterious clue for the next episode or the grand finale of the season, especially season 2. I can't find Rugular Show: The Movie, so I watched The Annoying Orange instead. 

  Today in history, I learned about the beginjing of the city of Rome. Romulus and Remus are brothers. One day they started fighting about where to build the city. So, they decided that who spotted the most vulture get to decided where the city was to be built. Romus said he saw more vulture and started to dig a sacred ditch. Remus felt cheated, so he jumped over the Romulus's sacred ditch to mock him. Romulus was so angry that he killed Remus, finished the city, and called it Rome after himself. In science, we learned about our skeletons. The axial skeleton consist of our backbones, ribs, pelvis, and skull. The other bones are called appendix skeleton. The teacher have a full scale model of our skeletons. At the end of the video, the told us the company that made the model, and I think they also said that the model was called Stan, Stan the Model Man. In English I, we were getting ready for the literature test that gonna be on tomorrow. We reviewed in the language textbook to get ready to get to Unit 8. In mathematic, I learned about ratios and proportions. Ratios are written out like fractions, but they are not like fractions. Ratio is compared how many something to how many something. And they read 3:5 3 to 5. Proportions is just having two ratios that have equal value. For example, 2:3 = 8:12. In Bible, we finally learned about the final plague of Egypt. The Jews have to paint the blood of a spotless, not blemished, unhurt lamb that was one year old on the sides and the top of their doorway. The firstborns of the house that doesn't have the blood died that night. Today, I also finished my guitar practing goal. I parcticed 10 times with 92% or more with the speed of 75. And God help me alot. Tonight, I'll watched a movie that my dad has just downloaded on his MacBook. My dad was downstair right now preparing to played the movie on the TV from his Mac.

  Yesterday, I walked one mile for about fifteen minutes. My dad and my sister also went with me, but they didn't walk with me. After I've finished one mile, my dad ran one round the resident area. We didn't watch movie last night because it was already too late. I was so sleepy that night that after I read a book and turned off the light, I sleep almost immediately. 

  This morning, I walked for one mile in about fifteen minutes.  When I got home, my dad and I realized that I should have walked for three miles. In history, I have Test 2. The test was five pages, and I finished it quite quickly. The only question that I didn't remember that who developed the idea of democracy in Greece, which I later found out that it was Solon; but I did remember Pericles. Pericles is the one who enforced the idea of democracy. In science, I learned about the skin. The skin is a system that I don't remember it's name right now, but maybe I'll remember later. Epidermis was the upper part. The epidermis consist of dead skin cells and skin cells that's alive. The dead skin cells was above the skin cells that's alive. The next layer is the dermis. The dermis have receptors and hair folicles and nerves. The last layer is the subcutaneous layer. There're fats and blood vessels there. In language, I review about the punctuations. We did Exercise A and B. We have to but ending marks like periods, question marks, or exclamation points in Exercise A. In Exercise B, we have to underline or put punctuations at the end or in the middle of the sentences like commas, apostrophes, hyphens, periods, exclamation points, question points, semicolons, and colons. In matematic, I learned about solving problem strategy. One of the questions is what is the sum of 1+2+3 and so on until we reached 99. The way to do it is to find how many pairs of 100 then add them all together, but 50 doesn't have any pair so we add them to all the pairs of 100 added together. In Bible, we learned about the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth plague of Egypt. Tomorrow, I'll learn about the tenth plague. I already now what the tenth plague is for Mr. Ender already told us, and I've learned about it before. The tenth plague is all the first-born of any house that doesn't have the spotless lamb's blood on the doorway. Today, I've complished my guitar practicing goal with God's help. I've done ten times with 92% or more with speed of 64 over 117. I and my dad today walked for three miles because I forgot to walk for three miles this morning. We walked three miles for about 43 minutes, and the goal is 46 minutes. Tonight is my day to watch movie. I intended to watch the rest of the movie Regular Show: The Movie.

  Yesterday, I finished The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, the book I'm gonna used for my book report today. I also finished its appendix. I also found on eBay that they sold one pound of Lego Bionicle pieces for about 315,000 vnd. I tried to find out if that's a good deal or not. I weigh my robot and found out that my robot weigh about one half pound, and my robot costs 699,000 vnd. 

  In history today, I reviewed for the upcoming test. Mr. Smith divided the whole class into two teams, the Athen and the Sparta. I choose to be on the Sparta, but the Athen won. There're some questions that I could answer, but the students on my team doesn't. I think the test was on tommorrow. Next chapter, we'll learned about the city of Rome. In science, I learned about the urinary system, which consist of  two kidneys, a liver, a bladder, two urinator, and a urethra. We also have Quiz 7. I found out that I forgot to do the skill sheets, so I finished Skill Sheet 2 and 3. In language, I have a Volcabulary Spelling Quiz. We don't read literature book in class, and the video lasted for only about 15 minutes. I have a book report today. My book report was about the book called The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin that I read for the last few weeks. The report was one and a half pages long. I wrote that the lesson we learned from the book is to be frugal. I think my book report was okay. In mathematic, I learned about dividing decimals. We have to move the decimal in the divisor to change the divisor into a whole number, and then move to decimal in the dividend to the right the same times as you moved the decimal in the divisor. If we don't have enough digits, we have to add a zero. Today, I didn't have Bible lesson because it was lesson 25, and any lessons that ends in a 0 or a 5 don't have a Bible lesson. I sang some songs instead of having Bible lesson. Yesterday, I made a guitar practice goal. The goal was that I practiced 91% or more for ten times but faster than before in at least 45 minutes, and I achieved it. Tomorrow, I'll practice 92% or more for ten times with the same speed for at least 45 minutes. 

  The evening wasn't pleasant so much. My mom told me not to eat fats because my feces were still in a liquid form. It's surposed to be the day my dad watched movie, but it was quite late so I'm not sure if we're gonna watch movie. 

11/30/15

  On Saturday, my whole family headed to my grandparents house. My dad downloaded the game Asphalt 8 at noon. I ate mostly fish at lunch. In the afternoon, I played badminton with my aunt. We have much more foods that I like at dinner. My dad's cousin was still there. My cousins were also there too. 

  On Sunday, I woke up earlier than my cousins. My muscles in my legs hurts a little bit. I ate some noodles for breakfast then read the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. If I remember correctly, I watched cartoons and a movie 'till lunch. We have chicken meats for lunch, and I ate mostly chicken and sticky rice. After lunch, I walked around after lunch a little bit then decided to caught a fish in my great grandparent's fish tank. While I was trying to caught a gold fish, I accidentally scared a bigger fish so much that the fish jumped out of the tank. We've eaten that fish tonight. We went home about 6:30 pm. 

  In history, I read about Alexander the Great. Alexander the Great conquered way from Macedonia to the Indus River. Alexander was a student of Aristotle. He died when he was 32 years old in Babylon. In science, I learned about the digestive system. The alimentery canal is the way the foods past through, and the digestive system is the system that help to digest and absorbed the foods. We also learned about teeth because they're also part of digestive system. We learned about mechanical digestion and chemical digestion. Mechanical digestion digest foods by force, and chemical digestion digest foods by chemical reaction. In language, I learned about what to include in my book report. I have to find the lessons in the book.  We need two examples or one example and one quote.  In mathematic, I learned about divided and multiply by ten. If we divided by ten, we have to move the decimals to the left the same times as the zeroes we have in the divisor; but it we moved the decimal to the right the same times as the zeroes we have in the divisor if we multiply. In Bible, I learned about the first three out of ten plagues that God send to Egypt. In the first plague, God turned the Nike River to blood. God make all the frogs from the Nile to go up and got into the house of Egyptians in the second plague. In the third plague, God turns dusts into lice. This afternoon, God helped me in particing guitar. My goal was to have 93% or more for ten times and for at least 45 minutes. Tonight, Cartoon Network premiere Regular Show: The Movie; but I have to walk so I didn't watch the whole movie

  Yesterday, I didn't read the sections in the textbooks that I have to read so I didn't watch movie. I read The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. After that, I and my father watched videos about Winnipeg, Canada. We watched videos about how to survive the winters, which none of them worth watching, and videos about the street in Winnipeg. 

  Today I learned about Pericles and the Greek's government. The Greek's government keep circling in a cycle. The Democracy and the Tyranny were two of their types of governments that I remembered. Pericles was a Athenian leader during the war between Sparta with its allies and Athen with its allies. I also have History Quiz 5 and and Geography Skill Sheet 5. The funny thing was we haven't even did Geography Skill Sheet 4 and already get to Skill Sheet 5. In science, I Iearned about the circulation system. We learned about the heart, arteries, and veins. The bloods, after having travelled all around the body, have no pressure to push it to the heart anymore; and because of that, God made the muscles squeezed the veins when they contract to send the bloods back to the heart. In language, we review the apostrophe rules a little bit then get to the part of making outlines. I have to correct the simple outline that they already gave us and fill in the blanks of a sentence outline. We didn't have to write an outline yet; but soon or later, I'll have to write one. In arithmetic, I learned about how to add, subtract, and multiply the decimal. To add and subtract decimal is like normal; but to multiply, we have to count the decimal places in the factors, add them together, and put the decimal to make it have the same decimal places as the sum of the factor's decimal places. For example, 2.3x.3 =.69. In Bible, I learned about Moses and got to the part when he got back to Egypt to told the Pharaoh to release God's people. After Moses told the Pharaoh to release His people, the Pharaoh was so upset that he order that the Jews have to collect straws by themselves and they also have to make more bricks. Today I finally get 92% or more for ten times in guitar practice, but I couldn't have done it without God's help. The pick made from the soccer card was too hard so I put tapes on the old pick first, but it still didn't works. The second time, I bend the pick that's made from the soccer card, and the good news is it was flexible enough for me. My dad also allows me to watch movie tonight if I finished all the works I have to do. I also have read to 83% of the book and get to the part when Benjamin wrote about his electric experiments.

11/25/15

  Yesterday, I wrote blog late at night because I forgot to do so earlier in the evening. I read a book until my dad told me that I forgot to write blog. I also forgot to read the textbooks that I have to read before we actually learned it. 

  Today I learned about the Greek and Persian War and about their city. Mr. Smith was a funny teacher. He made a joke today about a Greek soldier ran from Marathon to Athen for reinforcements.  When the soldier got to Athen, he said, "Nike." Mr. Smith said, "Not exactly, you're wearing sandals." He explained that Nike means "to conquer" in Greek. We learned the Xerxex I attacked the Spartans at Hellespoint and didn't won until a traitor told him another way to pass Hellespoint. The leader of the Spartans was king Leonidas. King Leonidas told most of the soldiers to went back, and he with 300 soldiers will stay to hold off the Persians. He and the soldiers died there. We learned about the human body in science. We learned that cells were the smallest living matter, but it wasn't the smallest matter. We learned that the body was made of systems. The systems were made of organs. The organs were made of tissues, and tissues were made of cells. In language, I learned about apostrophe rules. The rules said that we use apostrophes and s's to show possessive of a noun. We don't use the s when the noun was an ancient name that ended in es. We don't use s's when the noun was Jesus or plural nouns ending in s. We also use an apostrophe after a number to show plural of numbers, letters, or words. A tricky part of this is if a singular noun ending in s, we just add a apostrophe and a s. In mathematic, I learned about decimal. Decimal is basically like fraction. If we wrote it in fraction, we have to rote the letters after the decimal as a numerator. We add a 1 in the denominator and the same amount of zeroes as the digits of the numerator. Like in .345, we wrote it as 345 over 1,000 as fraction; but I couldn't wrote it in fractions so I wrote it in words. In Bible, I learned about Moses. We got to the part when Moses talk with God through a burning bush. He made excuses so he didn't have to go back to Egypt. I tried to finished the guitar practice goal, but I didn't succeed. I've done only four times that were above 92% in three hours. My pointing finger of my left hand hurts when I touched the string. My pick also broke, so I and my dad made our own pick from my dad's Mastercard and a collectible soccer card, which I have two of them. I forgot to read in the textbooks so I couldn't watch movie today, and I going to read it after my dad check this.

 On Sunday, my dad's cousin from the South came for a visit in Hanoi, and my dad downloaded the new game Freeblade on iPad for me. Yesterday, I took my dad's cousin a trip around Hanoi. We have to walked across Long Bien Brigde; and if there're something I have to say about my feelings about the walk on the bridge, then it was that the walk was scary. We first went to Hoan Kiem Lake and went into a pagoda in Hoan Kiem Lake to take pictures. Next, we went to buy books and eat Trang Tien ice cream. I bought Derek Landy's next two sequels of Skulduggery Pleasant called Playing with Fire and The Faceless One. After we ate lunch at Lotteria, we went to Vincom Ba Trieu CGV to watch movie. The movie we chose 007: Spectre. At first, we intended to play We Escape in Kham Thien, but my uncle's feet hurts because his shoes were too small, we went to watch movie. 007: Specter was about James Bond, an agent of MI6, finding a terrorizing organization after the 00 program been shut off and about to get replaced by the 9 Eyes program. The 9 Eyes program was a program using satellite to find threats and stop it. If 9 Eyes completely function, it would be a threay to the whole world. He find a organization called Spectre. Spectre was the one who funding for the 9 Eyes program. After he escaped the Spectre's HQ in Sahara Desert, he went back to London to stop C, a code name for the person who's developing 9 Eyes; and stop 9 Eyes from completely function. After the movie, it was about 5 pm, so we started to go home. We walked a little bit to a bus station when my mom called me and said that we have to stay there and wait for my parents to pick us up. We waited until about 6 pm. After my parents picked us up, we went to Aeon Long Bien to have dinner. We eat fried meat on a hot pan with rice. I and my uncle also ate sushi with salmon eggs. After taking some pictures, we find a place to sat down, for my uncle's feet were still hurt. We waited there until my parents were ready to go home. Even though we didn't do much there, I still happy because the dinner was good. 

  This morning, I woke up about 8 pm. I and my uncle went to have breakfast at the market. We ate Doner Kebab which cost 15,000 vnd each. After we got home, I watched my uncle played Clash of Clans on his phone. Later, we watched 007: Skyfall, a prequel of 007; Spectre. At lunch, I made the sauce to eat rolled meat. My mom usually made that, but she's not home today; she and my dad went to watch my little sister anticipate an event at her kindergarten. They also went to meet their friends to have lunch with them and prepared to change their driving license to prepare from going to Canada. After lunch, my uncle went back to Ninh Giang. This week's Sunday, my family's gonna go to Ninh Giang also. He left about 2 pm, but he got a bus to Ninh Giang about 4 pm. When he got to Ninh Giang, it was already about 7 pm. After he went home, I waited downstair to open the door for my mom and went up to sleep until my dad came home; but I wasn't slept yet when my dad came home. I slept until about 4 or 5 pm. After I woke up, I read a book until my parents finished walking. I and my dad talked a little bit while we were walking. When I got home, I lifted weights. Today I've lifted sideway 45 times instead of 25 times, but I still lifted upward 45 times as usual. We still have rolled meat from lunch fo dinner, but my mom already prepared most of the stuffs so I only have to pour fish sauce into it. Luckily, I've poured the right amount of fish sauce that I needed. Tomorrow, I'll start to learn as usual. My guitar practice goal tomorrow is to played at least for 45 minutes and don't stop until I have 10 times 92 percent or more.

  Yesterday I watched The Transporter: Refueled with my dad. The movie was about the Transporter after have done the contract with some ladies, were forced to do another contract because his father was abducted by the ladies. He helped the ladies to revenge on someone else. My dad said this movie wasn't as good as the earlier Transporter movies. 

  School today was ok, I learned about king Darius in history; I also have Geography Project 2 today, and I've done it. In science, I have a review for the test that's on tomorrow. We review from chapter 1 and 2. In English, I learned about the quotation rules. There're 10 quotation rules that I have to learn. We put end marks except colons and semicolons inside the quotation marks, but we don't put ending marks if there're not related to the sentences in the quotation marks are one of them. We put quotations marks around title of articles and poems and short stories.  We have to rewrite some sentences to put quotation marks and capitalize words that needed to be capitalized in the textbook. I even have to rewrite a whole paragraph. In mathematic, I learned about dividing fractions. We have to flip one of the fractions, uses cancellation, then multiply it instead of divide. It's important to remember that we need to flip one of the fractions and not all of them. In Bible, I learned about Moses when he flee to the Midians' land. There, he married a wife and have two sons. While he was there, he thought that how could he free that Israel in Egypt now, and he though that God must have chosen another man to deliver the Israelites from Egypt. The teacher said that we are nobody and God is somebody. He also tell us a verse from the Bible. It said, " I must decrease, and He must increase," or something like that. 

  Today, my whole family went to the clinic to get vaccinated, but turns out that only I and my little sister need to vaccinate. I was surposed to have two shots, but I've already have enough shots of one type; the other shots ran out so I don't have to get shots. My little sister was different, though. She have to get the shot that I didn't have to take because I've had enough of them. She cried really loud, and to calm her, my mom buy ice cream for her and, of course, for me. I've done the guitar practiced goal that I've made yesterday, and God help me to accomplished that. I was so happy because yesterday, I couldn't only do it eights times; and now I did it ten times in about an hour. Tomorrow, I have to make 10 times that is 92% or more, and I have to practiced more than 45 minutes. I think I'll finished it in about one and a half hour or more. On Saturday, I have to do 10 times of 93%, and I think I'll be able to do it in 3 hours or more. Yelp, 3 hours or more; that's a long way to go.

  Yesterday, I watch Ant-Man on iPad. The mivie was like this. Scott Lang was released from prison. He had a wife, which had married to another guy, and a daughter. He needed money so he with his friends break n a house to rob. Inside the basement was a vault. After Scott break into the vault, he found nothing but a suit. He later found out that the suit give him the ability to change his size from normal to the size of an insect. Dr. Hank Pym was the one who invented this suit and let Scott take it for a mission. Hank was the CEO and founder of Pym Technology until his apprentice bote for him to be kicked out of the company. His apprentice tried to invent the suit called Yellow Jacket that allows the wearer to changes size. Hank saw that it would be dangerous if the Yellow Jacket falls into the hands of bad people, so he trained Scott for the mission to retrieve the Yellow Jacket. That movie was pretty epic, and I like it. 

  Today, I learned about the Persian Empire. King Cyrus was ruling Persian what the New Babylon Empire falls. He used camels to fight the Lydians horses, for he nows that horses afraid of camels. He redirected a river in order to attack Babylon without fighting outside the city. He conquered all the way from modern Turkey to modern India. He was used by God to returned the Jews back to their land. God also helped him in conquering the lands. Next lesson I'll learned about King Darius. In science, I learned about it the roots and about osmosis. The scientists think there're three ways the plant get water up. There're root presure, transpiration, but I don't remember the other one. I learned about xylem and phloem. Xylem is to take water up to the leaves, and phloem is to take dissolved foods down. In english, I learned about underline and hyphen rules. We underline titles of books, ships, works of arts, and many other things. We used hyphen when connecting compound numbers that were writen in words when there're not adjective. We also used it to connect words in ending lines. In mathematic, I learned about multiplying fractions and cancellations. We reduced the numerators and the denominators of the fractions the the least, but we only reduced the numerator from the denominator of the other fractor. In Bible I learned about Moses. We ended when he killed the Egyprian taskmaster and had to run away from Egypt.

 Today, I walked 1 mile too slow. I'm surposed to walk in 16:30 minites or less, but I walked in 16:43 minutes; I walked slower by 13 seconds:(. I learned about the new Babylon Empire. The new Babylon Empire were made by king Nabopolasser. After Nabopolasser, was king Nebuchadnezzar, son of king Nabopolasser. Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon that defeated the Irael and take captives to Babylon. Among the captives were Daniel and his friends. Daniel is the ine who wrote the book Daniel in the Bible. I don't remember his son, but I remember the one who ruled for his son. Belshazzar was Nebuchadnezzar's grandson. Belshazzar was the king that used the cups of the temple that used to be in Jerusalem. In the night that Balshazzar used the cups from the temple, a hand wrote words on the wall. The meaning of the writings were that Belshazzar's empire gonna be divided to the Persians and the Medes. That night, Babylon fell. In science, we read about some experiments about plants. We read that if we wrap a plastic bag around a plant, the humidity produced by the plant was kept in the bag; the humidity that were kept in the bag help nurturing the plant. We only need to wrap a plastic bag around the plant for it the kept itself watered. In language, I learned about semicolon and colon rules. The semicolon rules said that we used it to connect two simple sentence if we don't want to use conjunctions and comma. We also use it to instead of using two commas to know which comma that separated two simple sentence and which to separate adverb like in the sentence "In the afternoon, I read books; and at night, I usually watched movie." In arithmetic, I learned about subtracting fractions. We have the make that denominators of the two fractions like each other. We could also borrow from the whole number to make the proper fraction into a improper fraction. In Bible, I learned about Moses from his birth to when he was returned to the pharaoh's daughter. Yesterday, I made a goal for guitar practing. I was surposed to have 10 times have more than 90% correct, and I did it. I didn't did it in one time, I make 8 times more than 90%, then I with my mom went to get my sister home and get me to the clinic, but I ask my mom what time is it too much that it made her angry. We went to after that, and I continued to practiced guitar. I intended to do 10 times with 91%, and I have to practiced in 45 minutes or more. Tonight, it's my dad's day to watch movie, but he's currently sleeping. Tomorrow is my day to watch movie, and I think I'll watch Ant-Man.

  Yesterday, I go to my dad's aunt house to remember our great grandfather's death. I played with my cousins. About noon, we get to my grandparents' house and played "basketball." It wasn't actually basketball, we're just throw the ball to another person, and the other one try to catch it. For example, if I were the last person to touch the ball, and the person, who have to catch the ball, catches it, I'll be the next person to try to catch the ball. After that, we watch Star Wars Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi on TV. The movie didn't have subtitle, but I still understand most of it. I've watched this movie before, but I still like it. The movie was about Luke Skywalker and his friends tried to rescue Han Solo, acted by Harrison Ford. After they've rescued Han Solo, they, along with the other Rebels, tried to destroyed the second Death Star. The Rebels also found out the the Emperor and Darth Vader were also on Death Star. Luke tried to convert his father, Darth Vader, to the good side. When all seemed failed, Darth Vader helped Luke kill the Emperor. Unfortunately, he was heavily injured and died while he was still on the Death Star. 

  

  Today, I walked 3 miles because I didn't walked 3 miles last Friday. I didn't walked fast enough, and I even walked slower than last time! Last time I walked in only 48:38 minutes, and today, I walked in about 51:00 minutes. In history, I learned about the Assyrian Empire. The Assyrian Empire reach from Modern Iraq to Egypt. The Assyrians destroyed every city they conquered, and they even dispersed the people from their land in order to make them less unified so they wouldn't revolt against them. They dispersed the ten Northern Tribes of Israel. In science, the teacher brought some leaves for us to identified its margins, venations, and the settings of leaves. I don't remember all the names of the kind of margins and venations, but I remembered its kind of the settings of leaves. There're opposite, alternate, whorled, and rossette. In language, I learned to two last comma rules, rules 5 and 6. Rule 5 told us about putting a comma after dates and places, but not after places when they were followed by zip code. Rule 6 told us that we need commas after greeting and ending in letters like in "Dear John," and "Sincerely,". In mathematic, I learned about adding fractions, making mixed numbers into improper fractions, and making improper fractions into mixed numbers. In Bible, I learned a little about Moses. After that, I went for about an hour to buy guitar strings, but they didn't  sold guitar strings. At least I didn't have to walk tonight. I praticed guitar and got mostly over 90% correct, and I'm very happy about it.

  Yesterday I still learned in the chapter of the land of Irael in history. I learned about two neighbors of the Israelites, the Phoenecians and the Hittites. Both the Phoenecians and the Hitties don't care about history. The Phoenecians were traders and seamen. They invented the alphabet, but they didn't wrote down their history. They were so interested in trade that they only wrote about their trades. The Hittites were warriors. They didn't wrote their history because they have only interested in conquest. They were the first people the made an empire, and they made the first iron weapons. The earlier people used copper weapons. In english, I learned about comma rules 3 and 4. I have alot of exercises to do then. I have to do Exercise A to F. In science, I learned about venations of the tree and the kind of leaves. I learned about the compound and simple leaf. The simple leaf only have one petiole, while the compound leave have much more. I only remember the name of venation, but I know all of them. The parallel veins ran along the leaves, the other have one main vein, and the last one have many main veins. In mathematic, I only have a three-pages test. The test was about unit 1, and after this test, I'll started unit 2 about fractions. In Bible, there's no video, so I review John 14:1-3 abd sing songs for about 15-20 minutes. Because in the afternoon I have only mathematic test, I finished sooner than usual. I played Lego for 20 minutes, then go out to have a haircut. Later, after I observed my hair carefully, I realized that my hair sucks. I fixed the front and the sides of my hair, but only the sides looks good after I fixed my hair; the front still sucks. I also practiced guitar for 40 minutes. After dinner, I told my dad to redownload Injustice so I could play at Quan and Quang's house. They already have this game on their mom's phone, but their game didn't works; so I let them played on my iPad a little. 

  This morning, I played iPad a little while waiting for my dad to go buy ingredients for my burger. I bought breads, spinachs, tomatoes, and a glass bottle to but water in the refrigerator. I made chicken and beef burger. I also played Injustice again and get Red Lantern Hal Jordan. This afternoon I'll go to my grandparent's house.

  Yesterday, my dad and I watched Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The movie was about a group of IMF (Impossible Mission Force) trying to stop a nuclear war. After getting news that Cobalt, a criminal, was going to get the missile launching suitcase from the Russian army. When the team got there, they're already too late, and they abort their mission. When Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) was walking out of Kremlin, a bomb exploded in the Kremlin. Ethan Hunt was suspected to be the person behind the explosion of Kremlin, but he escaped. Now the Russian police were after him, and the President activated Ghost Protocol. By actived Ghost Protocol, the IMF was shut down, the team only had some equipments, every act of yhe IMF agent was denied by the US government, and if one of the member of the team died, they're considered terrorists. After that, I practiced guitar, and read news to find an article for my current event, which I've found yesterday. 

  I learned about Irael under the time of king Solomon in history today. In the end of his time of being king, he started to worshipped idols of his wives. The current event was due in the next lesson, so I'll write it tonight. In language, I learned the comma rule 1 and 2. In reading, we finished the story Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. The story was about a mongoose, after being take home by an English family from the road, fight the cobras in the lawn of the family. He actually killed three snakes; he killed a snake that I don't know what kind it was and two cobras. We gonna have spelling test 3 or 4 tomorrow. In mathematic, I review for the upcoming test over Unit 1 in the next lesson. The review was about 4 pages, and it contain everything I've learned in Unit 1. In Bible, I review for the test in the future lesson, and we have a new song to learn. In this evening, my dad and I went to find an extra course for me, but the place we're going to find was about to repaired; so they don't except any new students. I also went to the supermarket. I bought cookies, peppermints, and a bottle of Mountain Dew. My mom already went to the supermarket this morning, but we were supposed to buy bread, spinach, and tomato for the burger. My dad said that we should bought it on Friday or Saturday, so I just bought those items. Tonight, I've practiced guitar, but the result wasn't good. I got two 73%, a 87%, and one more that I don't remember. Tomorrow, I might have pumpkin soup with bread for breakfast, and the cereal are going to be tplike a snack because the milk gonna be expired tomorrow.

  Yesterday, I leanred to change from chord C to chord D, or vice versa, without looking at the frets! To me, that's incredible. I also found out that the next current event is in lesson 15. I don't remember if I have wrote about this before, but I still write here. Before dinner, I watchs a part of Transformer 1 on TV, and later I watch the rest of it on iPad. The story was about a fraction of mechanical ailiens, or robots, called Autobots, leaded by Optimus Prime came to earth for a cube called All Spark. The All Spark contains the power to turn every machines into a transform able robot. The Decepticons leaded by Megatron was another robotic fraction that want the All Spark to turn all the machines on earth to transform able robots. Sam Witwicky's great great grandfather has found Megatron in North Pole, and through an accident, his glass got the cordinate of the All Spark. The Decepticon tried everything to get the glass from Sam, but he was protected by the Autobots. The Autobots in this movie are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide, and Jazz, who died in the end of the movie. 

  In history today, we got to a chapter 4. Chapter 4 was about the land of Israel. I learned about Moses and their journey to Canaan. And I also have a new Geography Project 2 that is due in lesson 16, which is next Monday. In science, I learned about the lily family and its bulb of some plants. I also found out that there's a plant that is 25 feet talls, and it wasn't a tree! In mathematic, I learned anout the least common multiple. The way to find the lcm (least common multiple) is easy. Here's an example. The prime factors of six are 2x3, and the prime factors of twelve are 2x2x3. There're two kinds of number in  six's and twelve's, and that is 2 and 3. Find the prime factor with the most of some number, for example 2; twelve have two 2; for number 3; both have one 3, so we'll write it as 2x2x3 which is twelve (not so easy, hah?) In grammar, I learned about ending marks such as period, exclamatory point, and question point. In spelling, I'm learning for the spelling test in lesson 15. In reading, I got to a new unit of stories. In Bible, I got to the part when Joseph's brother have to go to Egypt to get foods because of the famine in Canaan to the part when Joseph revealed himself to his brothers. Tonight, because my father and I watch Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, I and my mom didn't walk as we usual did every night, but I've walk fast enough this morning and lift weights as usual. I also practiced my guitar, and my finger bleed a little from under the nail; but it wasn't so bad. My highest percent in practicing guitar today is 89%.

  Today I learned about a way to find the greatest common factor of two different numbers in mathematics. In history, I have a test so I don't learned any new thing today. In science I still learned about plants like lily and some other plants. In English, I have Of People and Grammar test, so I don't learned anything except the spelling list that I'm currently learning. And I also found out that the next history current event is due on lesson 15, which is this Friday. In Bible, I got to the part when Joseph got to be the pharaoh's vizier. He interpreted the butler's dream and told the butler to tell the pharaoh that he was wrongly accused, but the butler forgot that; and Joseph ended up having to stay in prison for 2 more years. But when the pharaoh have a dream that he want to know what it means, but he doesn't know it. After the pharaoh called his wisemen to interpret his dream, which doesn't works, the butler remember about Joseph, so Joseph was called before the pharaoh. When he was asked that if could interpret the pharaoh's dream, he said that it wasn't him that knows how to interpret the dream, it was God who revealed what the dream means. Because Joseph glorified God, God glorified him by make the pharaoh made Joseph the pharaoh's vizier. 

  

  Outside of school, this morning I couldn't walk as usual because my leg muscles were still hurts and it was raining. But this afternoon I walked for the morning 1 mile as usual, and I did it faster than the time allows me to walk. After I went home I read about the lessons that I'm going to learn in the future lessons. In history I read about the Persian Empire and how Cyrus was used by God  to return the Jews back to their land. I mathematics, I read about subtracting with fraction. In grammar, I read about quotation rules 1 to 5. I read a story called Where the Red Fern Grows. I science I read about the type of plant's root. And I just read the vocabulary words in spelling. After that I lift weights and read the autobiograohy ofBenjamin Franklin. Today I read the part that he said the thirteen rules that made for him was originally twelve, but when one of his friends told him that he was too proud; he add Humility to his list. He also taught himself to not point out the errors and told how ridiculous a person's idea was, but to apply it in some situations to see if it was right. It helped him alot in talking to others.

  On Saturday, I "dissected" my old computer with my dad, and then I assembled it again; but it still didn't works; then I played Dungeon Hunter V. After I had lunch, I praticed guitar for about 30 minutes, then continue to played DHV on iPad . About 4 pm, I took things to prepared for my parents' fair. And from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm, I worked at the fair and got 100,000 vnd for working there. I had tomato sauce chicken with rice for dinner, and my legs were a little bit tired after I've finished all the works. 

 

  On Sunday, I didn't went to my parents' fair because there's no one that sold Lego there, so I stayed home to watched TV. But I didn't watched  TV until about 11 am because my sister was still watching TV then, so I read a book about Benjamin Franklin called The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin until my sister and my grandma went to the fair. I watched some cartoons, a movie called The Edge of Tomorrow, another movie that I don't remember its name, and a part of Exodus: Gods and Kings. Besides those, I watched two episodes of Mythbuster, one of my favorite show on Discovery Channel. One was a special episode to see if Indiana Jones could escape the temple in one of the Indiana Jones movie when he take a golden Mayan idol; the show's host have to test to see if we could really escape from the automatic poison dart gun, out-run the giant rolling rock, disarm a man from a gun using only a whip, and swing across the clift with a whip. And they prove that we could do all of those. In the afternoon, I worked at the fair by arranged the tables and chairs to one place at my parents' fair. 

 

  Today I learned as usual, but at noon we went to Sen restaurant. When we came back, I just lay down a minute, then continue to learned. When I finished learning, I took a nap and didn't woke up until about 5:30 pm. After dinner, I learned the new English words then wrote blog. Because I didn't wrote blog on Saturday and Sunday, so I had to write longer now.

  Yesterday I watch the movie named Chappie. Chappie is an AI developed by Deon Wilson, the developer of a police robot called Scout. Deon was kidnapped by some thieves that want a remote control to shut of the Scouts, but instead they made Deon to make Chappie to work for them. 

  

  Today I learned about the prime number in arithmetic. In history I still continue to learn about ancient Egypt. I science we still learned about flowers and seeds. In language we learned how to write a summary, and they haveme rewrite some sentences into a summary. The sentences was about the great structures in the United States. In Bible I learned about how Joseph got sold to Egypt, but we didn't learned to the part when he got to Egypt. This week, my parent gona have a fair so I'll gonna help too. My dad taught me about computers, and today I have to download the PCLinuxOS for the computer. I've download it p, but the program was a little bit slow. I just realized that when I downloaded the program, I accidentally delete the window on the computer!!! I'll tell my dad after he went back home from his sister's mother-in-law. The following swntences in add ons. So I've finally found out that I haven't delete Windows p, but I over wrote Ubutu. I also found a news that I'll make current event out of, and under its adress.

  Yesterday I went to Aeon mall, and it was big. My grandmother came to our house yesterday, so she went with us to Aeon also. We ate dinner before we went there. We spend alot of our times just to find a parking lot; now I really understand why Dave Barry said that the only Christmas gift you could get for an aldult is a parking lot. I bought a book there, and my dad bought a USB. My grandmother bought shoes, and my sister bought toy there; only my mom doesn't bought anything for her. When we get home, my dad takes a bath while I find another program to watch movie on IPad, and we download like six programs. 

  Today I learned about divisible rules and common factors in mathematics. The hardest one to remember is 6; because the number have to divisible by 3 and it's an even number. I learned about flowers in science and abotu Jacob in Bible. In language, I still continue to learned about capital rules; actually I review the capital rules. In history, I still learned about the Egyptians, and today I learned about the Nile River and the Egyptian's mummification. Tonight it's my turn to watch movie and I have alot of works to do tonight, so I wrote blog earlier than normal. My grandmother has gone to her sisiter house, and she said she'll return tonight or tomorrow.

  This morning, I walked a mile in only 17:35 minutes, and I'm very proud of it. Today I have no lesson to in Bible, so I read the new Bible verse Roman 10:9-11 four times by myself. In arithmetic I learned how to write large numbers and rounding numbers. In science, I remembered that yesterday I only learned about a man named Sir Francis Bacon who developed the way to check a hypothesis or something like that, and that means today I learned the way to check a hypothesis; I also have science quiz. In history I leared about Hammurani and his empire. And I have a spelling quiz today, it was equivalent to spelling test in 6th grade, I guest, we were also introduced to spelling list 2 and a new spelling rule. The new spelling rule was i before e except after c and when supounded like a as in neighbor and weigh. Today I lift weights 45 times upward in less than 2 minutes, and my arms doesn't even feel tired. I finished the new book I bought yesterday called Skulguggery Pleasant book 1. I went to get my little sister from school today and take some medicine for her with my mom. My mom also buy some medicine for my mouth; it still hurts alot. Tonight my family won't go to church, so I'll played iPad at home.

  Today I learned the capitalization rule 1 in language. The rule was capitalize the proper name of things and people. The hardest thing to capitalize is the words like west, east, south, north when there're a part of a country. I learned how to divide four digits number and divide numbers with zeros as the ending digits. We have to cross out the number of zeros that was in the dividend, then divide the divisor as if there was no zeros in the divisor and the dividend; but when we multiply to check it, we still have to multiply the dividend by the quotient, but the dividend have zeros this time now. I learned how to see if the hypothesis was right in science today. We need to observe and gahter informations to make the hypothesis, then we experiment to see if our hypothesis is right; if not, we have to make another hypothesis and observe to make a new experiment. I finished learning about Abraham in Bible, and I started to learned about Isaac and his sons, Jacob and Esau. In history, I learned about the Sumerian's belief and the reason of their conflicts. I have the first Speed/Comprehension Quiz and the first language quiz. I think I've improved my guitar skill a little bit more, and I'm able to change my fingers between the C chord and the G chord faster than before. I bought fresh milk, chocolate milk, and some notebook today while my dad and I went for a walk, and we have wild goose for dinner today, and it was delicious. Tonight my dad and I will buy some books.

  Yesterday I watch a few short movies and Transfomers 4, so I didn't get to watch the whole movie. I also forgot to preview some lessons in the books too, so I have to preview them. I'll continue the movie next week. 

  Today I learned about the Sumerian in history. The Sumerian invented writing and wheels. They've been invaded by Akkadians. The Akkadians was so impressive about what the Sumerians have done that they kept most of the Sumerian's culture except their language. In language the teacher told us about book report, and she shows us some books to do book report that was published by A Beka Book. There're a bibliography of George Washington, William the Conquerer, and a missionary that I don't remembered his name, and the rest are books like the Black Arrow and Morgan, the Spy of New Jersey. In mathematic I learned about division, and some questions were quite challenging for me. Igot some wrong answer in the questions, so when I check the answer, I found out that the answer was wrong and fix the answer which make my paper look likes a mess there. And today my dad and I go to buy a six edge screwdriver, and while we go, my mom called to my Dad and told him to buy medicine for my sister. After that we went near our home to buy the screwdriver. We did got the screwdriver. When we got here me we take a walk, but it was longer than usual because I didn't walk enough yesterday. After we eat dinner, we tried to onpen our wifi access point to fix it, but the screw was not only six edge but also have a pole in the middle of it. My dad still able to open it though, but we couldn't fix it.

  Today I started to learned lesson 2. One of my dad's friend came over today to see my homeschool programm, and he brought his son with him. His sin was impressive about what I got to learned in history. In mathematic I learned about multiplication because it was only lesson 2, so I relearned multiplication. And I have the first speed test or what ever it's called.  In history I learned about the Tower of Babel. I think I have written this yesterday, but today is the day I learned about e Tower of Babel. In science I learned what enviroment means, and it means the surrounding of the place an animal lived. In grammar I continue to learn the spelling list 1 and about the library with its way of organizing books. There're two way to organize books, there're the Dewey system and the Congress system. One were listed by numbers, and the other were by numbers and letters. I continue to learn about Abraham in Bible. Today I learned the new words at noon instead of in the afternoon, which is good because my father has to go back to his hometown to attend a funeral. Because my father wasn't home to watch movie with me, I have to watch alone.

  Yesterday I finally finished the movie John Carter of Mars on iPad. Today I officially started 7th grade. I could only learned one lesson instead of one lesson and one extra subject as I intended to yesterday. Mathematic was easy, for I only learned addition on lesson 1. Language wasn't that easy, for there're some answers that I'm not quite sure of. Spelling and reading were easy too. I learned all the words in  today reading lesson and all the words that I didn't know in the spelling list. I was  introduced to science today, but we did read some pages in our science book though. In history I learned about the Creation, the Flood, and the Tower of Babel in class and in homework reading. I learned two Bible verses, and they were in Revelation and John. We also learned about Abraham in Bible today. Today I finished class about 4:25 pm, and I takes clothes off the line. After that, I played Lego 'till it's time to cook rice. After I've cooked the rice, I take a bath; then I watched movie with my sister a while then read the lessons in the textbooks that I'll read in the later lessons. When my dad and I buy foods for tonight, I make a new list of foods for Monday, for I've lost the last one. Before we go I did told myself to buy some notebooks, but I forgot to buy them; so I'll buy them later. Today I tried to push up again but could only push 4 times.

  Yesterday I watched John Carter of Mar on iPad. I don't know why, but I like to watch that movie again. I haven't finished the movie yet, but hopefully I'll continue it tonight. 

  Today I went to my dad's parents house and one of my dad's aunt went with us. When I got there I say hello to my great grandparents and my grandparents, of course. At lunch I ate only rice, sticky rice, and chicken. I also played badminton with my dad till dinner. Dinner was early and I woke up quite late so we doesn't play badminton much, only about 30 minutes. On the trip to there and home, my dad hear a guy name A.J. Hodge on the recorder teaching english by telling stories and then ask questions about the story, and some questions even repeated. We arrived home about 9:00 pm. After I got home, I have to get the clothes off the line and buy soap for the washing machine and milk for my younger sister. I also push up 24 times today, that's mean I push up 4 times than the last time I push up. Next time I'll push up more but not 4 times more. 

  Tommorrow I'll start learing 7th grade. I only need to learn one lesson a day, but maybe I'll learned one extra subject so I don't end the class too terribly early. After learning I'll take clothes off the line, lift weight. After that I'll rest a little  then learn guitar, so my arms don't get tired when I learn guitar.
