6/30/16

  Yesterday, I watched Ender's Game instead of Gulliver's Travel. The reason I watch Ender's Game instead of Gulliver's Travel is because I couldn't find Gulliver's Travel anywhere. Ender's Game was about the adventures of Ender Wiggins as he goes from the Battle School to graduating the Commander School. In the future where the humans had to fight a race of alien called the Formics, kids were trained to fight the Formics for they absorb the information faster than adults. Ender was a borned general. The movie had Harrison Ford as a General that I forgot his rank in the military, but I stills remember his name. His name is Graff. If his rank was a general, then it's gonna be funny, since his name was General Graff and had two g's. The movie was great. There might be a chance of a sequel, but the place where I read about that might be written a long time ago. So the chance of a sequel might be reduced to 40% from 70%. 

  Today, I do more works than I did at the hostel yesterday. I finally handle a booked guest at the hostel alone. Besides that, there's no much happening there. No other works besides what I had done yesterday. At least, I came home earlier than yesterday. Yesterday, I came home late because another worker there finished her work late; and I came home with her so I got home late. Tomorrow will be my last day to work at the hostel in this month. 

  At home today, there's a few things to told you. First, I woke up to go up stair to translate another article. The article was about the reasons why we should begin a new habit. I don't remember all of it, but the article was short. This article only worth 10,000 vnd. After that, I used the iPad to chat on Messenger with my friends on Facebook. I didn't talk much because I kind off enter in the middle of a conversation, and others were too busy talking so none explain what in the world was going on. 

  Tonight, I intended to redownload the game Hangman. Our family used to play that game before my younger sister was born. I might ask my dad to play it with me. 

  Tomorrow would be the last day that I work at the hostel until August.  Next week, I'm starting to return studying until I finished all of 7th grade. 

6/29/16

  Yesterday, we watched a few movies; or to be more correctly, I watched a few movies. No, I didn't watch many movies but just parts of several movies. I don't know why, but the movies yesterday were quite boring to watch. At somewhere about 10:30 pm, I started to go the bed. I finished the third book and continue with the fourth book of the Arinthian Line book series. I like the fourth book of the series the most. The part that I like the most in the fourth book is the first match and the last match that Augum fight in the warlock tournament, the Annual Antioc; or at least, that's what I think the name was. I didn't remember the name quite well. Oh, and long before that, my dad and I talk a little bit about guns. My dad only know three of four guns while I know nearly twenty guns. We also talked about the latest article that I translated. This article was called 7 Things Confident People Say or somethings loke that.

  Today, I got to eat yellow sticky rice with grounded beans, my favorite breakfast. AfterI have eaten my breakfast, I read Clash, the fourth book of the Arinthian Line book series. Today, there's not much works at the hostel. I just basically sit around, read Clash, talk a bit of this and that, and listen to songs. The two songs I'm so Sorry and Warrior were not my favorite Imagine Dargons' song as it used to be. Now, I like On Top of the World and It's Time more. It's Time had a part that was similar to a part of a song we sing at church.

  This afternoon, I woke up at 3:30 pm without my parents waking me up. I came upstairs to ask about my dad's plan to install FPT Play onto the television. After that, I ask my dad to let me use the iPad to chat on Messenger. Tonight, it's my day to watch movie. After I finished making a blog entry, I will wash the dishes then watch the movie. If there's no movie that worth watching on the television, I'll watch on iPad. I think that I might watch Gulliver's Travel. Jack Black olayed as Gulliver in the movie.

  This is the last week of summer. After this week, I'll continue to study. But if I finished seventh grade before August ends, I got to have a summer vacation for the rest of August.

6/28/16

  Last Friday, when I come to the church, my friends haven't came home from their vacation yet. To make matter worse, the wifi there doesn't work. Luckily, the game Asphalt 8 had the game mode where I don't need wifi to play. Asphalt 8 was a car racing game on mobile. It works on both Android and iOS. The game was obviously the eighth of the series. It was made by Gameloft, a company that never seems to make any games that was use on other platforms except Android and iOS. It was obvious now that I was able to play Asphalt 8 better. Last summer, only the word "terrible" could describe how I play the game. Now, that word was changed to "nearly okay". 

  On Saturday, there's not mich that happened. I chat on Messenger and play Asphalt 8. I also watch another new channel on YouTube. This channel also play games, but he play with his friends, one of which I suspected was a Vietnamese. The channel was called Vanossgaming. Evan was the YouTuber's first name. His last name was Vanoss. There's also a match of the 2016 Euro between France and Ireland. On the first half of the game, Ireland score one point on a penalty. But on the second half of the game, the French scored two points and they won. 

  Last Sunday, my dad told me that I couldn't use iPad as much as before because I watch YouTube too much. That night, we went the Long Bien Vincom for dinner. We intended to use our pizza coupons on the movie ticket that we went to last year. But we changed to eat steaks because we all like it. The steak was as delicious as the steak we ate at Aeon, maybe more. Yet, the steaks here are cheaper. 

  Today, I got a tip from the lady whom I take her luggage up to her room in the hostel. I don't know why, but I think that I didn't received the tip right then because I ran down too fast. Well, at least I got a tip and I'm happy about it. Besides that, I also help to take another lady to the hostel, which she had already booked in but doesn't know where it was and wait at the intersection nearby and call the hostel. I and another was the only one there. Tonight, there's no soccer match. And, as a matter of fact, there's no match at all until 1st of July. There's a downside and an upside in July. The downside is that I continue to study. But the upside is that there's gonna be a new season of Star vs the Forces of Evil.

  Yesterday, I watched Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. The movie was about Dastan, a street boy from a city. When the king of the Persian Empire went to a city, his guards caught a boy stealing. Dastan rescued that boy and ran for a while until he was caught for his hands to be cut off, as a penalty for thieves in those days. The king noticed him and pardon him; he take Dastan into the palace. Since then, he was a prince of Persia. Sixteen years later, the Persian army where attacking a city that was suspected for selling weapons for the Persian's enemy. Dastan attacked it, and the king decided to give the princess of that city to Dastan. But the king was killed by the poison in the coat that Dastan gave him. He had to ran away with the princess. He also took a special knife which allows the holder travel a few minutes back in time. He later found out that it was his uncle was the one who poisoned the coat. His uncle wants to travel back in time so he won't save his brother, the king, which would allowed him to be the king. Dastan stopped him and also saved the king too. He and the princess live happily after ever. Of course until the people from Disney decided to make another Prince of Persia movie and puts dangers into their lives. But I doubt it. It have been six years since the the movie was released. 

  I also hear three songs made by the band Imagine Dragons that I like. They are I'm on Top of the World, Warrior, and I'm so sorry. The song Warrior was made for the 2014 League of Legends Championship. The song I'm so sorry was the soundtrack of the antagonist Kung Fu Panda 3, General Kai. 

  Today, at the hostel, I did a humiliating mistake. Somehow, I told the tourists that it would cost them 40,000 vnd for one bike per day instead of 70,000 vnd. The weirdest part is that I still thought that I said 70,000 vnd. But I did actually say more than yesterday and said more clearly. The article that I translated today was okay. 

  Tomorrow, I'll try to talk better and not make that dumb mistake again. And also, we're going to the church too. But my friend's not gonna be there because they're on vacation. I could still talk to them in Facebook, though.

  I started to work at a hostel last week. I started working at Thursday. The works there was ok. The reasons that I didn't go to work until Thursday was that on Tuesday, I woke up too late too go. Either that or that because that I intended to work at a restaurant, which they refused because they sell liquor there. On Wednesday, I actually ready to go, but the owner of the hostel, who happened to be the husband of one of the employees of my parents' company, went to gave his child vaccines so he was unable to take me to the hostel. On the first two days, thing was quite okay. I didn't talk much to the foreigners because I was too shy. There's a lot of books there, but, unfortunately, they are all in German, or Deustch, in German. That seems quite hard to understand, so I'll explain it. The word Deustch means German in the language of Germany. Got it? Good. Now let's move on to this week's highlights at the hostel. On Monday, I talked to a Vietnamese tour guide. I also talk a little bit to two Austrian ladies. They've been in Asia for about a month or more now. They went from Southern Vietnam up to the North. After a while, the guide actually talk to them, and I just listen. On Tuesday, which was yesterday, I did more works and talk to foreigners at the hostel more than before. My first job to do was to bring the breakfast plates to the table, whoch was very near. It only takes 7 steps to got the the table from the kitchen. Next job was after I had taken 2 plates to the table. This time, the job was to ask the tourists what would they want for breakfast. It was quite interesting. And I got to talk with them more. After that, there's not much people coming. When it was about 9:30 am, two tourists from Chile came in. Since I did not know a thing about rooms, I ask another employee there. And I got the chance to carry there bag upstair. The bag was quite heavy, but it was nothing compared to the works I had to do at the preparation of my parents' fair. I didn't got any tip, but it doesn't bother me at all. If fact, I did not even expect them to do that.

  Today, works at the hostel was okay. I work up about 7:30 am. After I ate breakfast, I stills had enough time to play some songs on guitar. I played the theme song of Gravity Falls, Godfather, Jingle Bells, d the theme song of the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, He's a Pirate. Today works was similar to yesterday's. But, today, I didn't have any bags to carry up since there's no new tourists checking in. I also found two more new favorite songs. Both of them are made by the band Imagine Dragons. They are Warrior and I'm so Sorry. At night, I watch the movie Prince of Persia. 

  Tomorrow, I'll try to talk to more tourists. I need to overcome my shyness, talk more clearly, and be more friendly. So that's will be my goal for tomorrow.

  Yesterday, I watch YouTube instead of watching movie because there's no good movie to watch. I watch Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye, Markipiler, Smosh Games, Screen Rants, Smosh, and Kubz Scouts. Most of them play games, except Screen Rants and Smosh. Smosh had funny videos, and Screen Rants had easter eggs or mistakes in movies. After that, I continue to read Riven. I think that never before have there any other book that I loke that much since The Secret of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series. I have already read the third and fourth book three times and book the first and second book two times before.

  Today, I woke up at 7:30 am, which was 30 minutes later that I intended to be. Because I woke up late, I couldn't walk so I had no walking time to include here. I did set my alarm clock to 7:00 am, but, unfortunately, I forgot to turn it on. And my mom called me to get up. Now, to think of it, it was kinda funny when I actually set the alarm clock right and forgot to turn it on.

  Well, today was my first day working at the hotel of one of my parents' employee husband. It doesn't have too much hard works there. And, as a matter of fact, there's none at all. Not much people were there except those who works there, and had already live there. I only need to do the following works: change the pillows, sweep the floor, mop the floor, and helped change the bedsheets. My dad came to take me home somewhere about 12:40 pm.

  Today, I stills translate another article for my dad. This was the ninth article out of one-hundred articles that I had to translate before May 17th, 2017. The article was about the seven habits that will prevent us to make more money.

  Well, tomorrow, I'll continue to work at the hotel again. Of course I would stills went to the church. But I don't thi k that my two friends, Quan and Quang, would be there because they said they would be on vacation today.

  Yesterday, I didn't watch the Euro Football Cup or movie. I was so into the book Riven that it was late when I finished it. Anyway, I still can't go to the hotel to work. I believe that I've already said the reason why in the last entry so I won't say it anymore. I didn't sleep until 12:00 am.

  The part of Riven that I read yesterday was like this. Augum, his friends, Prince Sydo with his maid, and Augum's great grandfather escaped Ley to a cabin of a trapper. Augum's great grandfather died because once a Leyan leave Ley, they die in just days. The trapper went out to trap but haven't return of a long time. To makes things worst, Prince Sydo was in a strong fever. They need to find an arcane healer, or the last heir to Solia's throne will be dead. So Augum and Leera went to the nearby town to find a healer. When they arrived, they found out that the town was controlled by the Legion. That's the part that I reached yesterday.

  Well, because that I have already set the alarm clock on the previuos day, I woke up at  exactly 8:30 am. I didn't achieve the walking time, though. My time was fourty-six minutes and fifty-one seconds. I thought at first that I'll make it. But no, I did not achieve it. I'm kinda disappointed. Well, at least breakfast was okay. I didn't like it that much, but it was stills good enough.

  Today, I didn't play Team Fortress 2, Red Crucible: Firestorm, or Demise of Nations. I decided to return the the old faithful game, AtWar. I actually meet one of the friend there. He's from India. I finally added him and another friend, Hedi, on Facebook. And that friend from India was Kumar, if you wondered.
 
  Well, tomorrow, I'm gonna go to work at the hotel. My plan is the work in the morning. I will wake up at 7:00 am, waled for 30 minutes. Then went to work at 8:00 am. I'll go at some where near 1:00 pm.
